Like most Apple software, K-4 Control is both innovative and intuitive. It is also easy to learn and use. You are definitely not looking at a long learning curve with these apps. A good example is the FT8/FT4 mode which makes operating those digital modes both simple and foolproof. No audio drivers or settings required. You will be up and running FT8 contacts in a few minutes. I started with the MAC app several months ago and was so pleased I got myself an iPad for more flexibility. When I ran into a connection problem support by Marcus was prompt and unstinting. You will NOT be abandoned. Highly recommended.

This update contains the following changes and improvements: ◉ The app is now compatible with iPhone ◉ An issue with the iOS Keyboard for frequency input was fixed ◉ Added the possibility to temporary TX with a given power level by right clicking / long pressing the Tune button e.g. when using external Tuners or PAs ◉ Fixed an issue when canceling submissions of CW Macros ◉ Added the possibility to select memories via MIDI / Keyboard shortcut command ◉ Sending CW Macros will no longer focus to the CW Decoder entry field ◉ Added support for changing the unselected VFO (VFO B) frequency via MIDI ◉ Added a Lock button to prevent accidental VFO or settings changes ◉ Implemented some additional improvements and optimizations behind the scenes Note: The App Manual is currently being updated reflecting the differences between the iPad and iPhone version Kindly use the ‘CONTACT SUPPORT’ feature under Settings of the app in case of questions or issues.
