Pretty fun game! Lots of ads but they’re mostly controllable. You choose to watch ads during gameplay to get powerups and extra boxes, rather than being interrupted while you’re playing, and it often goes multiple levels before playing ads between games. My big gripe right now is that since the last set of levels was added, even though I have the sound off it keeps suddenly playing sound, so I have to turn the sound on and back off again. I keep my phone on silent so sudden noises are really annoying.

The foundation of the game is fun but that’s about it. Firstly you’ll notice that anything you can buy with the ingame coins costs a lot of coins and also always has an ad option for buying it. There’s also an ad every couple times you start a level. Now this system for power ups could be fine were it not for the fact that they’re occasionaly required on some levels unless you’re extremely lucky. This is because the game’s algorithm for placing screws seems to be entirely random and on levels with lots of layers (which is quite a few of them) you often can simply fail due to the game giving you two colors you straight up can’t get until the very end of the level. Sometimes even with power ups I would still fail because of how some levels are formulated. The ability to see through things by holding your finger on them is cool and would allow for more skilled gameplay if it weren’t for the fact that half the time the screws tou need are still to deep to even come close to getting with your very limited 5 spare slots (which function closer to 4 because even if you have an open slot on one of the colored boxes to take one last screw and get a new screw box, you can’t if the row is full.) Overall the game has the potential to be good but as is it’s just frustrating to know that sometimes the game is impossible for you just because the game said so.

i don’t write interviews, but i felt like i need to with this game because it’s got problems. I’m going to start with the most important, but it’s malware. It often runs ads that redirect you to those malware type websites that make you think your phone has viruses. Additionally, there’s one ad they run that makes this obnoxious beeping sounds. The closest thing i can compare it too is probably a smoke detector going off. I didn’t know what it was, and it was when i logged out the app i figured out it the game was source. I’ve read that it’s some sort of ad that leads to a blank page. So ultimately it’s just something to cause confusion and what not. We can get into the game itself now. I usually don’t get heated about ads on a game, but this case is different. With most mobile games like this that’s level based, they have hard levels that might make you want to watch an ad for a tool that’ll help, but there’s ALWAYS a way to figure it out. The level is hard but not impossible. This game sometimes sets you up with colored screws that are genuinely impossible to get, which forces you to watch an ad. It gives you no choice but to watch it, which is super annoying in this case.

I’ve never had so much fun and simultaneously been so frustrated at an app in my life. The auto-zoom is the most annoying feature ever added to a game. It never stops, doesn’t matter how many time I zoom back out, any time a piece flies away I’m zoomed so close that I can’t see the entire puzzle. Then the sound! I’ve turned off all sounds and music from the game, so I can listen to my own musical selections while playing. Every 10-30 seconds my music is paused by this game, as if it’s still trying to make sounds, even though they don’t come through. If I’m playing and not listening to music, then any time after an ad, the sounds, which are still turned off, start playing when I tap on screws. It’s so annoying I’ll be removing the game if these issues are not addressed.
