As a longtime desktop browser fan of Puzzle Baron, I love having an app that is sized for mobile. The auto-complete around a star is also a nice feature.I do wish that the bell curve for completion time could be ported to the app instead of the “expert +1” feature (but it’s better than nothing). A “clear” button to start over would also be nice. Thanks for making this!

Good news! Clear is already there. Tap the puzzles stars/size at the top left of the board and a Clear button will appear at the top right of the board (i.e. like selecting a new difficulty but instead starting over). Downloaded this app a few days ago and have already played over 200 games. It’s so nice to find a game with no ads. There’s a good range of difficulty levels and the options for hints are useful. The small price for additional puzzles is a great value, and I much prefer that over ads. Even when I had a technical issue, it was fixed within 24 hours.

PuzzleBaron and Egghead Games have always made ad-free games that simply work, and this is no exception. These are my favorites, and I’m happy to be deleting so many other annoying games in favor of this one and other Egghead titles!!

No ads! Easy to use. So many difficulty levels. One small glitch with auto-elimination of squares neighboring a star: when you test a spot and remove it, the dots from previous stars also remove

Adds a "Show Hints" setting when choosing puzzle difficulty to optionally hide the Hint button and "Oops!" messages about adjacent stars or too many stars in a region. Hints are less tempting if the button isn't there, plus it is helpful to turn off hints if you've been hitting the button by mistake. Also fixes a couple of rare crashes.
