Missing several of the features that I used over the past decade with the prior versions. Unable to highlight individual players with different colors based on how you felt about that player. For those of us who drafted offline with buddies, this feature allowed you to change what each color meant to you each year so that your buddies couldn’t figure out who you were targeting. You could use the colors as ranking tiers or anything you wanted (I.e. Bust, Draft Early, Late Round Flier, Handcuff, etc) The new app looks to have great potential, but this year I feel like I want my money back. As for the auction draft function, you can’t add keepers with dollar amounts right now. If you select to add keepers, it wants to enter the keeper in standard format

I’ve been using this app since its inception and immediately noticed something was wrong when I couldn’t even find the same logo. I truly miss the original app with all of its unique features. For just five dollars, I could set up custom scoring for my league — including yardage, bonuses, and adjustable tiers. At the end of my draft, the draft predictor would even project the league winner. Of course, those predictions were never perfect since they couldn’t account for injuries, but it became a fun tradition in my league. After our 10-team, 25-round live draft (which often ran 7 hours), everyone would come to me just to see what the app had to say.Now, jumping from $5 to $15 while offering fewer features is nothing short of greedy. The critical one-star reviews aren’t simply people resisting change — they’re a response to a complete overhaul that stripped away the functionality that once made this app stand out. In its current state, it doesn’t compete with other platforms like ESPN, Yahoo, or FantasyPros.

I’ve been a loyal RotoWire draft kit user for years, but this “new” version is a joke. It costs more than before, yet somehow gives you less. They stripped out everything that made it great — like setting your own tiers and auto-adjusting ratings for league scoring — and replaced it with a clunky, unintuitive mess. It feels like the developers never actually used the old version (or maybe never played fantasy sports at all), because nobody who did would think this downgrade was an upgrade.The old kit was streamlined, customizable, and actually helped you draft. This one feels like it was designed by people who care more about shiny buttons than functionality. Honestly, I’d pay double just to have the original version back. At this point, calling it an “improvement” is laughable — it’s overpriced, underwhelming, and looks like it was slapped together over a weekend hackathon by interns who hate fantasy football.RotoWire: please, do us all a favor and stop “fixing” what wasn’t broken.

As others have posted why would you change an app that was getting the job done. And on top of that you can’t even look at a preview and what the app can and cannot do. Can I add my notes on players like the previous versions of the app? Can I run multiple leagues? I have the app on my iPad for the past 7 years, I can look back and see who who on each team. Can I do that with or will I have to pay ad Infinitum to have that data? If you need to make more $$$ just change more. It’s a shame what Rotowire has done to their product.UPDATE: wrote to Rotowire and asked why they would offer a one time fee and subscription fee. Their replies verged on nonsensical. And then they stopped replying. My suggestion is to go to the Fantasy Football Cheatsheet also available on the App Store. It’s as good as the old Rotowire app was and it’s about $5. So if my review stays I’ll be shocked.
