This is the best jewelry ID app I’ve found. Does a good job if you really have no idea what you have but even so if you can’t identify hallmarks or have a precision scale, you’re not going to get responses you can trust. There’s no information on what there data set is for price estimates so that info can’t be relied on for much other than determining what’s valuable and what’s not. If it’s solds in a jewelry store or solds on eBay, those are going to return very different ranges. As a male dealer, my knowledge of what jewelry styles are called or names of gem cuts is poor, and providing that description based on photos is the key value I get out of the app. I’ve found however that a jeweler prompt in Gemini does better customized identification and price estimates for my needs.

Even though it ask you to pay for subscriptions. This app lets you try it first with at least two pieces of jewelry. Meaning two pictures. It appears to give you a good ideal of what you’re looking at. I would still take your jewelry to a trusted source to be appraised. But I was pleased by the general results

as the artist I was surprised to see it defaults to mass produced? Also the inability to change the descriptor that it assigns when I know it's Avalon in the picture and not Crystal or man-made acrylic that could be a compliment or an insult and it does not give an estimated value based on being made by a Native American artist. especially an artist that works in multi mediums
