I literally used the app with a wall that I could see the studs from the back, and it would not detect wooden studs as advertised. I tried multiple sensitivity settings and still nothing.

Unclear instructions, plus they want me to essentially pay for a stud finder as a service?? Hard pass. Plus I’d hate to drop my phone and break it just because I didn’t want to spend $20 on a dedicated stud finder.
