The Finch™ app by Teaching Strategies adds game-based assessment to our industry-leading GOLD® observational assessment system to save teachers time and provide a fuller picture of each child’s developmental progress. Finch provides two groundbreaking tools in one: the Finch Literacy Screener and Finch Formative Games.
The Finch Literacy Screener provides early signal for children who may be at risk for reading difficulties, including dyslexia.

The Finch app is available to teachers using Teaching Strategies Finch or Finch Literacy Screener which can be accessed through your center, school, state, and/or private childcare.

As part of routine maintenance, Teaching Strategies regularly updates the Finch app to ensure we are delivering products that meet the needs of our customers. This version includes a new integration with GOLD digital forms as well as minor enhancements and bug fixes.
