The Scentience app is a visualization tool intended to be used as a companion with the Scentience olfaction devices for olfactory robotics. The app allows an iPhone or iPad to simply connect to each device wirelessly through Bluetooth. Just open the app with a Scentience device activated and pairing will occur automatically. Onboard the app is an Olfaction-Vision-Language Model (OVLM) that runs completely on the device. Privacy is of paramount importance to Scentience, so no internet, LTE, or other data connection is required to use and operate the main features of the app.

- Guidance on how to use Scentience devices.
- Automatic calibration of Scentience devices and diagnostics monitoring.
- Real-time visualization and interpretation of olfaction data.
- An Olfaction-Vision-Language AI Model (OVLM) for locating the source from where detected compounds are emitted.
- An Olfaction-Vision-Language-Action AI Model (OVLAM) for enabling Scentience devices to navigate by scent.
- Over-the-air firmware updates for Scentience devices through Bluetooth connection.
- Information on chemical compounds detected in the air and what causes their presence.
- Coordination of multi-device swarming for enhanced scent localization.
- Contextualization of detected compounds with local weather data.
- Interfacing with third party olfaction sensors.
