Designed specifically to help Air Traffic Controllers to make the best possible split-second decisions, the app provides real time access to all aspects of operations to airfield personnel right in the palm of their hand.
This not only frees-up highly congested Ground ATC frequencies, but also ensures that mission critical tasks are quickly created, assigned and completed, without ever having to use ATC frequencies between the Tower and Airfield Maintenance / Security and Emergency personnel.
Airside is designed to enhance airport efficiency 24/7 while increasing airfield safety for personnel, air crew and passengers.
Key Features:
1. Safety Patrol Planning and Navigation: When teams need to inspect runways, taxiways and aprons, Airside coordinates the closure of active runways, optimizing inspection times, while ensuring all areas are covered as efficiently as possible.
2. Issue Reporting: All personnel authorized to on the airfield can use Airside to report FOD and many other safety & maintenance issues. Users simply submit an issue by talking to Airside AI, and optionally upload a photo. This instantly alerts the relevant department to address the issue, and as required ATC to issue a NOTAM, close a section of the airfield, or close a runway until the issue is resolved
3. Centralized Task Management: All airfield related requests are managed, scheduled, and assigned to personnel, viewable in an easy to understand dashboard. Managers can assign tasks, monitor progress, and set priorities for their teams in real time, with push notifications being sent to affected personnel.
4. Automated Workflow and Task Assignments: Airside Ai suggests optimal task routing to the appropriate teams based on location, urgency, and skill requirements. This enhances reaction time and supports safer operational decision making.
5. ADS-B Aircraft and Vehicle Location: Airside allows all users to see real time locations of all aircraft on the ground, as well as vehicles equipped with ADS-B transporters, as well as all other authorized airfield personnel's location in real time, simply by having the Airside app installed oh their smarthone.
6. Mapview: Airside provides an enhanced visual view of all reported issues, active tasks, and historical data across the airport. This spatial information provides real-time situational awareness to all personnel, allowing everyone to visualize task and asset locations, status and priority, for optimal self-organization.
7. Data-Driven Insights and Analytics: Airside collects data on all airfield activities, providing insights into aircraft turn-around, grounds maintenance and overall operational trends and performance.
