Doko: Save Places & Guides
Your notes on the best spots
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Updated for iOS 27 on day one. Reorder collections with the system's own drag, read the map clearly over satellite, and find every place you've saved from Spotlight.
Doko collects the places you want to remember. A trip you're planning, the bar someone mentioned once, the viewpoint you drove past and want to find again. Save them, group them into collections, and pull them back up when you're standing nearby.
Updated for iOS 27 on day one.
A friend is going to Lisbon and asks where to eat. So you start digging WhatsApp threads, saved map pins, old notes, half-remembered reels, rebuilding a list you've already made three times.
Doko gives your places a home.
Save the spots you've been to, the ones friends swear by, the ones you stumbled on and want to remember. Add the personal context that makes a recommendation actually worth something. Organise it all into collections by city, by trip, or however you think.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Save places you've loved, places friends recommended, places you want to try
• Add personal notes: "order the cacio e pepe", "go at sunset", "cash only"
• Group places into collections by city, by trip, or any way that makes sense
• Save from anywhere with the share sheet: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Safari, Maps
• See every collection on a map
• Send a collection as a PDF when someone asks for your list
WHY DOKO IS DIFFERENT
Your notes are the whole point. A pin remembers where. Doko remembers why: the dish to order, the street to walk down, the tiny bar that never shows up in a review app. That's what people actually want when they ask you for recommendations.
WHAT DOKO ISN'T
Not a trip planner. Not a booking tool. Not a social network. Just a personal, quiet space for the places that matter to you.
MADE BY TWO PEOPLE
Doko is designed and built by Dom, a product designer and developer, and Nancy, a visual designer and illustrator. We kept losing good recommendations in group chats and screenshot folders, so we built the app we wanted. No ads, no data selling, no feed, no corporate agenda. Just an app we use ourselves, every week.
DOKO PLUS
Doko is free, with up to three collections. Doko Plus unlocks unlimited collections and supports two independent developers who ship updates often.

Ratings & Reviews

Save a place without opening the app.
Say "Add a place in Doko" to Siri, or find it in Spotlight and the Shortcuts app. The place lands in the collection you choose. There is nothing to set up first, and Doko never has to open.
Found a bug, or want something Doko doesn't do yet? Settings has a Send feedback row now, and every message is read.
Plus a batch of fixes and plenty of work under the hood to keep Doko fast.
