Cookery version 2.3 for iOS and iPad OS has been redesigned for iOS 26, with a new, fast and accurate photo import feature. Recipes can now be imported from the web or the real world, be it a cookbook or family recipe written by a grandparent. Take a clear photo of the recipe, and Apple Intelligence will assist in automatically categorize the ingredients, instructions, title, and more, so there is little-to-no typing or editing required for most recipes. After you've approved the import, Cookery will apply the usual (and customizable) automatic coloring for ingredient quantity and measurement units and add it to your stored recipes.

Cross-device sync improved, with recipe list auto-updating when changes are made to recipes on another device. Added a corner radius to the images used in exported PDFs. Updated help menus to better reflect their actions when clicked. Fixed in-app purchase issue to ensure full app is accessible to all Cookery+ purchasers' devices.

Bug fixes: Tag icons are no longer stretched in the overlay view when searching tags. Setting a tag icon while the tag list is filtered works correctly now. Additional improvements to editing for ingredient and instruction lists -- these features should be more consistent, perform better, with fewer edge cases for bugs. New features: Submit a recipe to support directly from the recipe view, after import. Even if the recipe import completes, if you notice issues with the formatting of the recipe you can now request a review to determine how the recipe can be better supported by the importer.

Small bug fixes and design improvements: Fixed an issue where pinned / bookmarked recipes can't be deleted. Fixed some incorrectly labeled elements in the grocery list view. Adding new grocery items when editing the grocery list will automatically switch focus to the new item. Improved performance when scrolling. Added ability to set an icon for individual Tags: Tap and hold on a tag to choose a tag icon.
