I have a lot of issues with this app. Kind of disappointed that Solution Sidekick is more utilitarian but in order to use that I’m forced to sign in everyday with each use when Sales App is being difficult.The camera is always on when you open the scanner. So while I’m trying to build a basket for a customer or trying to look at specs it’s constantly scanning bar codes in front of me. Very weird app behavior and feels like a dangerous vulnerability. You are unable to scan LPs to see the price of Open Boxes on product that may be missing or had lost the hardware LP.Searching for customers are hidden behind two actions wasting time, making interactions cumbersome and frustrating.Not being able to set your store as default to check our IN STORE stock before checking regional / marketplace and having to constantly navigate the slow interface to help customers who are not interested in ordering product from marketplace.Marketplace shopping is a nightmare full-stop for customers who don’t want to constantly scan QR codes and order online. Customers have expressed that they feel like they’ve wasted their time coming into the store. Using or suggesting Marketplace seems to be highly discouraged with this system.

This is probably one of the worst work apps I’ve ever had the displeasure of using. There’s absolutely no reason for it to be this bad.The app is painfully slow and the constant layout shifting makes it even harder to use. It also insists on loading unnecessary items (like key accessories) every time I load a product page, which adds an extra 5-10 seconds, sometimes more, just to reach the “View in store map” button so I can help customers find what they’re looking for.On top of that, I can’t simply scan an item and quickly see where it belongs in the store. The updated flow moved that information behind a new page and there’s no direct way to get to “View in store map” without memorizing the SKU, searching it manually, waiting for it to load, dealing with the layout shifting again, and only then finding the location.If I want to work efficiently, I have to track down keys to grab a dedicated scanner because this app can’t do what earlier versions could.While it may be less buggy than earlier releases, each redesign has made the app harder to use. It’s clear the workflow wasn’t built with real sales floor conditions in mind and it doesn’t reflect input from the people who rely on it to serve customers.

While this app has greatly improved since its launch its still is a buggy mess and needs some UI work, for instance why does scanning a esl take me to a weird menu to add the product to cart instead of the regular product listing when I’m trying to see stock levels or more information about it, why does it sometimes just not let me see where a product is on the store map, and why does it not allow me to add a filter for non marketplace items

Please, please, please add the UPC barcode. It’s difficult to find laptops or product that practically identical and the only difference between them is the UPC barcode. Including it also makes scanning and ordering products for customers much faster and easier, rather than having to type the SKU each time which can be time consuming especially when lines begin to form. I do appreciate the addition of the in-store map, though. Also make it stock count more accurate sometimes it says we have a product in stock or only two left and it’s at a different store. Which makes me the sales associate look incompetent in front of the customer
