Update:Health kit integration was added recently and it’s even more effortless now! Thank you for the swift update to the dev!!!I’d been looking at various apps to help me track a given habit that’ll show me a pattern or streak of how my week or month had been. This app has a slick widget that helps me do exactly that (currently limited only the week, which works for me).Has a simple enough UI to interact with.Love the fact that the free version of the app already gives you pretty much all the features you need to get going, without many restrictions that would render the app useless.Suggestions:Would love to see some level of automation where may be the app could pull step count or sleep patterns from Apple’s Health app (if proper permissions were given etc..). Pretty sure that makes the app workflow a bit more complicated, but also these would likely be features that are unique, since very selective number of apps are doing something like that, with very overwhelming UI.Bugs:By far most annoying one is when you edit an existing goal text (say the goal is “Eat lunch”, and you’d like to capitalize the l), it seems the cursor jumps to the end and messes up the word entirely, so you have to pretty much rewrite the word properly.
Thanks so much for tracking your habits with Daily and for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review, really appreciate it! HealthKit integration is an awesome idea. Pulling things like steps or sleep (with proper permissions) could make tracking even more effortless, so thank you for suggesting it. I’ll definitely keep this in mind as the app evolves. As for the capitalization behavior, that was originally an intentional choice to keep things visually consistent in the main view, but I agree the editing experience should feel smoother. I’ll look into improving this so edits feel more natural without disrupting the text. Thanks again for the support and constructive feedback, it genuinely helps make the app better.
