Waste of Money - Many Better Apps Free

Really hoped that this app would be what it advertised, especially for a paid app. However, not only are the results heavily skewed in favor of downplaying additives and toxins, each search also takes forever. I have four other free apps I’ve tried that have better ratings and immediate results. I put this app up against those this week, and this app took 78 seconds to give me readings on one product, while a similar free app took 4 seconds. Complete waste of money, way too slow, poor search results, and overall not what is advertised.

Thanks for the detailed feedback! we get it, speed matters. RevealIt uses AI to scan full ingredient lists and analyze health impact based on medical research, not just surface-level flagging. That takes a few extra seconds, but delivers far deeper insight than most barcode-based apps. We’re also constantly optimizing for speed and your example helps. If fast + free works better for your needs, no hard feelings. But accuracy takes an extra beat — and for some people, that’s worth it!

I don’t appreciate how they ask for personal info before you even sign up to use the app. You have to accept them sending you a free product, there’s no option to skip. Then you have to pay for the app, $5 a month. I would have preferred to be presented with the cost of the app first so I could decide whether or not to use it and then I can enter my info, not answer all those invasive questions to be told I have to pay to use the app. This is deceiving.

The app seems to be very hidden and miss as far as accuracy. I’ve had that scan numerous products and claim it has ingredients that aren’t listed on the product packaging anywhere. For example, I had a scan a 100% natural almond butter where the only ingredient was almonds. The app came back and told me it had palm oil and sodium nitrates. This was not an isolated incident. This is completely unreliable. I deleted it in Health of my trial pretty fast.
