About Rummy
Indian Rummy, a variant of Rummy is a game of skill and strategy where players form sets of three or more cards of the same rank or runs of three or more cards of the same suit. The main goal of the Indian Rummy game is to create a pure sequence of cards (three or more consecutive cards of the same suit, example: JQK) of the same suit or set (three or more cards of the same rank, example: 777) of the same value cards.
Rules:
Indian Rummy is mostly played among four players. Each player is dealt with 13 cards at the start of the game. To win Rummy, players must form valid sequences and sets with their 13 cards and aim to reach 0 points by creating correct sequences and declaring their game before opponents.
Rules for sequences and sets:
- Minimum two sequences are required
- One of these sequences called First Life must be pure
- The second sequence called Second Life can be pure or impure
