Why do you need my location?

So many reviews saying it doesn’t work. I wouldn’t know because there’s no way Samsung needs my location for certifying I have a valid water filter. It was shipped to my house. They already have my location. I’m deleting the app after I post this. Absolutely disgusting. If I have to replace my refrigerator, I am not going with Samsung again, even though that’s what I had planned. Their data collection, whether refrigerators or TVs, is outrageous.

This app does not work! Atleast with iPhone 17pro max. It won’t allow you to zoom in and if you get up close, the app does not allow the camera to focus. Samsung should go back to the magnetic authentication

This has to be an app the counterfeit people have made to pretend like you are going to scan a genuine filter. As far as I know Samsung hasn’t changed not changed the verification process which is a magnetic strip to authenticate a filter!
