I learned about this app on reddit when the creator was still working on the marketing and I’m SOOOOO thrilled with the execution. This is exactly what I was hoping to find, like Duolingo but for church latin. I’ve been praying the divine office in english but would really like to make the switch to latin once I get a better grasp on the language. The AI art is really well done, btw. I honestly thought it was commissioned at first and was scratching my head at how that was affordable at this stage in the game. My only recommendation would be to have some way to see how sentences are translated as a whole in the stories. I think it’s supposed to be Rosetta Stone style where you pick it up naturally, but with the complicated sentence structure, I’m really struggling to know exactly what is meant sometimes. I also see the merit in having us struggle our way through it since that makes learning more effective, but I do wish I could have maybe 3 translations allotted per day for when I’m really scratching my head. But even as-is, this app is fantastic!!!!!!

Got up to the sixteenth lesson and the Fatima prayer as of yesterday after downloading it a few days ago. Since yesterday it has me on an endless loop asking me to do the Fatima prayer over and over again - I must have done it 100 times. It looks like the app is relatively new but has all the content already been exhausted up to this point, or is this a bug?

I think this app is a great idea. Learning Latin through prayer is a great idea especially for Catholics who don’t have alot of time throughout the day. We can sit and pray to God while learning the language of His Church. Amazing.

I love the app so far and it’s studying tools. I wish that I could click on a ward and hear its pronunciation. Also before I memorize a prayer I would like to be able to hit a play button and hear it. If it had these couple changes this app would be perfect for the growing number of people attending Latin Mass
