I had 0 luck with this scanning known wood turning blanks. Tried want, called it wenge. Tried padauk, called it IPE. Tried cedar, called it padauk. Tried a different piece of cedar, called it African mahogany. Tried DIW, called it zebra wood. Was really hopeful but it doesn’t work.
