I was highly pumped for this game. Dark Fantasy is a highly enjoyable aesthetic. This game seemed to nail it. Up my first load i was concerned about the policy and lack of privacy that is given to people who play this game. I agreed to the most private terms possibly, although who nows where my personal data is now. When loading in the game I was impressed with the combat, and the mission with the princess was quite plain and the enemies didn’t seem to have any specific theme or sense of being there, it was still enjoyable. However I was deeply disappointed when the cutscenes rolled and I realized this game was completely AI Generated, atleast the cutscenes, but the entire game would make sense too based on the artstyle shown. I am very disappointed and frankly angry that AI is being normalized in game creation and the lack of privacy is concerning. Aswell the micro transactions that you use in game to PAY, for characters. Which for an indie developer is understandable, but for an AI Slop game where you play as a 2D pixelated knight? Please! I do not recommend anyone to play this. For an authentic fun RPG dark fantasy game, play the Dark Book.

Update: My Daily quests deleted themselves before I could do more than one of them and now I have a 20 hour timer…Update 2: Daily quests continue to remove themselves before I can do more than 1 per day. Capping my gem access to farming exclusively.So far the game is very promising. Some minor details can be forgiven considering the early stages but I wanna put a couple suggestions. A bed in your lil house. Better pathing through the mob zones (cemetery and goblin camps), more advanced details in those zones (cemetery has maybe a church whether it become a dungeon or just detail, camps in goblin zone or even some banners maybe), the tavern maybe some more npcs, the mobs sorta gank/jump you a lot which is not unbearable but can be annoying when facing 20+ mobs already. Proficiency/levelling system I really like a lot. And as far as the “special” characters I would suggest a way to not put them in your face as much. You get to the “select your character” and well you could guess most people tap on the far right… just for it to be a paid for character. Thats a heavy vibe kill. Your intro is your hook. Find a way to introduce them later maybe? Maybe they become the tavern npcs and they trade out seating as you play different ones? The game can only go up from here. Youve got this. Game really does have potential.

i’ve been watching your videos of you producing this game from the ground up and i admire your talent juggling school and coding. i love dark fantasy and am excited for future updates. no i would say that i don’t really like the ai use for the art but i love the vision for the art and animation, for the animation i feel as though it is too smooth and i know that’s a CRAZY thing to complain about, but the two arts clash. i love wizardry and the thought of magic so do you think you could put some ice spells and stuff for me in there? maybe custom clothings for the characters that also can affect their stats in game? i think that would be SO cool!!! i love this game and have urged everyone i know to download and play it. keep up the good work!!

I spent a bit of money to support the dev. It’s hard to give it 5 stars because I have no idea what the point of the game is. You start out with this interesting tutorial where you are going to a castle to save the princess. You meet her and save her from a horde of enemies. You carry her out and who is seemingly her father knights you. Then there is an abrupt stop and you’re in an empty room. You leave the room and there is only one other building you can enter which is a pub with one customer who has no meaningful interaction, and the barkeep who only refills your tankard which heals you. There is absolutely no helpful dialogue or direction. Outside there is a quest board with basic “go kill x number of this enemy etc. you do it.. get some small reward… and I think there are levels of some sort but I see no way to check. You cannot see attributes, skills, character information beyond the absolute most generic. What I explained is everything I could find. There appears to be 3 other POI outside of the “town” you start in. These places just have wave after wave of uninteresting enemies that will unrelentingly run at you. I cannot tell if I’m getting stronger and nothing really indicates I am. a buff will be offered to you after killing enemies for a while… I believe there is an experience bar but no metrics are offered. There isn’t the traditional character screen you would expect in such a game. There isn’t an equipment or gear screen. I am the mage but my character shows the knight, with the option to “change knight”. The story was absolutely abandoned after the tutorial. Like I said there is nothing and no one you can meaningfully interact with or speak to. Not sure this game should have been released yet honestly… it seems completely void of content. I like the style and look of the game and the tutorial started out strong. Just hope there is some plan of bulking up the story and point of the gameplay.
