HOW IT WORKS:
Drop a beacon
Pick what you’re doing and when (anything within the next 24 hours). Matcha walk in the park? Happy hour? Pickup soccer? Your friends get notified instantly.
Friends Tap In
No “let me check my schedule”. No “maybe, I’ll let you know”. They see it and they’re either in or they’re not. Simple.
Go hang out
That’s it. Close the app and actually do something together.
WHY INPROMPTU IS DIFFERENT:

Create a plan with a title, time, and location. Add a photo or fun description if you’re feeling spicy. Hit send and every friend gets notified at once. No more struggling to text people individually.
See what’s happening
Your home feed shows all active plans from your friends. Tap for details, open directions, RSVP. You’ll get updates if anything changes.

The default: you both open the app together and complete a two-step handshake. You've got 3 shareable friend codes for people you can't meet up with right away.

Beacon Comments – Keep the conversation going. Add live comments to any beacon to share updates, coordinate details, or just build hype.
Beacon Spots – Got limited space? Set a spots limit for your beacon. Perfect for last-minute reservations, concert tickets, or that futbol game that only needs 5 people.
Geo-Aware Notifications – Now you only get notified for beacons in your city. Add friends anywhere in the world without inbox clutter. (You can adjust your city or opt into all notifications in Settings.)

- Fixed a launch bug that caused the app to freeze on the splash screen
- Beacon deletion now works smoothly
- Tapping a beacon notification actually opens that beacon (like it should)
