Used this to help do some speech therapy while homeschooling. The app itself is amazing but my toddler doesn’t really have the longest attention span for the phone so hands on has worked better for us but I’ve already recommended this to others that can benefit from it.

We recently started using speech LP so my 5 year old son could get some extra practice with his TH and S sounds. His three-year-old sister also loves using the app and is getting help with all the sounds she struggles with too. The app has been great for them to bring extra awareness to those sounds and their improvement has been outstanding!

I’m a speech therapist so I downloaded this app to try it out on a faux student. First off, did I miss something? It seems to only have one game format, and pretty boring at that: watching items go by on a conveyor belt. Are there more? Is this level one and the student needs to pass and is then advanced to something else? The screener (also a conveyor belt) has 36 targets and even as an adult I had to try multiple times (like a dozen each time) to get a word marked correct so I could go on to the next one. There was no way to exit out so I had to power through until I got them all right before I could get out of it. I’m not seeing a young child sitting still for that. I will keep the app and see if it gets better, but at this point I don’t think I’m using it unless there are more games and more options. It does look like it could potentially be worthwhile and maybe it’s still in the beginning stages. I am wishing you all luck and hopefully you will be able to make some changes soon so it’s more enticing.

I think this app is awesome for extra homework practice! I am a SLP and I love how you can select target sounds for your students. The graphics are cute and children enjoy them. This app is truly one of a kind!
