Sound levels over 80 decibels can be harmful to hearing. It is therefore important to know when you pass safe exposures. The meter can go with you on different journeys, such as at a construction site measuring the levels of noise or a concert. Either way, the device will alert individuals of their exposures and warn them when they need to wear protection.
