Webmail You can now access your METU webmail directly inside the app! Read your emails, compose new ones, reply, forward messages, and open attachments — all without leaving Hocam Connect. Email Notifications Get notified instantly when a new METU email arrives. Even if the app is in the background, your inbox is now always within reach. Mail Composer & Attachments You can now compose new emails using your METU account directly from the app. You can also preview or download email attachments to your device. Marketplace Alerts Never miss a listing again! Set alerts based on keywords or categories and get notified the moment a matching item is posted. Notification Preferences You’re now in full control of which notifications you receive. Manage your notification preferences by category in **Settings → Notifications**. This Week on Campus, Redesigned The **TWOC (This Week on Campus)** screen has been fully redesigned and modernized. Campus events are now easier to browse and follow. Coming Soon: Event Reminders Custom reminders for campus events are coming very soon. :) Turkish Language Support Turkish language support is now here! You can now switch between Turkish and English directly from the app settings. Messaging Improvements Messaging inside Hocam Connect remains fully end-to-end encrypted and secure. This update also includes several improvements to make chatting feel smoother and more natural. Smarter Keyboard Behavior In the chat screen, pressing back now closes only the keyboard first; press back again if you want to leave the page. Also, the first letter of your sentence is now automatically capitalized while typing. Easier Marketplace Messaging The **"Contact Hocam"** button in Marketplace no longer sends a message instantly. Instead, it now fills the text box for you, giving you more control before sending. Improved Image Viewing The full-screen image viewing experience has been improved. Swiping between images is now smoother and more reliable. Restaurant Menus Improved The menu image list in the **Restaurant Menus** screen has been updated. You can now scroll through all pages of a restaurant’s menu more comfortably. Sign-Up & Password Improvements Additional checks have been added on the sign-up screen to help ensure correct METU email formatting. Some previously restricted special characters are now also allowed when creating a password. In-App Announcements One-time announcement pop-ups have been added when opening the app. This helps make sure you don’t miss important updates. Other Improvements - Fixed an animation issue on iOS when uploading marketplace listings - Added category-based alert support for Marketplace - Improved general navigation and usability across mail screens - Modernized the campus events screen visually and structurally - Various bug fixes and UI improvements
