Needs some work but good

Not too bad of an app for filing taxes. There are still problems that need to be fixed. Such as being able to find your bank info for direct deposits a lot faster, being able to use a passkey as well as making it more usable for mobile. Definitely still a work in progress. But 4/5 stars

The fundamentals of this app are broken. There are AI systems that could fix these issues within a week. Sign-in requires entering your email multiple times. Doesn’t automatically allow saving your password via password manager. Doesn’t have Apple Face ID. Messaging center is not readable. Entirely useless. No way to schedule a call once you have been assigned an Xpert. Those are base fundamentals. Once those are fixed, there is an opportunity to build upon to make the app a statement versus their competition.Update based on developer response: sign-in asks for email input back to back. It’s a glitch. Chat is glitchy too. You can only see a sliver of a single row of text. It’s a glitch. You cannot setup a call or speak by phone once assigned a Xpert. On app or on desktop. Not in the way you could before being assigned one.

Thank you for the detailed feedback — we’d like to clarify a few points.Sign-in only requires one identifier (email, username, or mobile number), so you shouldn’t need to enter it multiple times. If that’s happening, that isn’t expected behavior.For Xpert Assist, you can connect directly within the app today in three ways: chat, speak by phone, or schedule a call — all currently available in the app.We’re also working on adding biometric login, which will be coming soon. We’re continually improving the app experience and appreciate you taking the time to share your input.

They had a class action filed against them and didn’t properly in form the members of this class action. You got an email that ended up in the junk folder not real letter. It works fine but still needs fine tuning. It’s a better deal than turbo tax

To begin with- their service is extremely over priced and not worth the price. The app is buggy and gives pages with have the text cut off without anyway to zoom out to read the entire field. This happened to me in the “check file status” after I had to give all my info to them again- which should already be there considering I just signed in to check. I probably winter using their service next year.
