Word Associations Solitaire is a relaxing solitaire word game where you match words by meaning, category and association. Draw from the deck, move cards between piles and place each word where it belongs before you run out of moves. The basic game is fun (if not unique), but it needs work. I LOVE that there is no move limit, but there are problems. The biggest is the cards don’t seem to want to go where they belong - even when trying to place them in an empty slot — to the point where you second guess if it’s the right category. Secondly, you can’t put a category card on a stack of cards that go in that category — which is really important when you’re trying to free up a slot. Lastly, and least importantly, when you’ve got a stack of category cards already up and in place, it doesn’t show the already discarded/placed cards - it just shows the category, making it harder to tell which pile is which.

There’s so much wrong with this game….EXTREMELY REPETITIVE you get the same categories over and over :pet, dog, cat, food, fruit, vegetable, sports, tools, kitchen, electronics, weather, jobs, emotions. Sometimes you get 2 weather (pictures of weather or just the word describing weather) or 2 sport, just pointless. Nothing new, just the exact same categories, exact same pictures, over and over. Half the time the piles won’t move to the correct category (if you have a stack of say, sports, they won’t transfer to the category and you have to move them one at a time, which takes away the number of moves you have left. Deleting this game.

Fun but way too many ads

Alaslmr
These games always advertise relaxing, but limiting the numbers of moves and making me watch ads upon ads to be able to finish a round isn’t relaxing at all. It’s super annoying.
