We are constantly working to make Woodworker's Companion the most reliable tool in your shop. Here is what is new in this version: Automatic Cloud Backups: Never lose your shop data again. You can now securely connect your personal iCloud or Google Drive account to handle automatic backups and cross-device restores. Because we don't use a central database, your data remains strictly between your device and your private cloud. We never see it. A Cleaner Shop: We did some deep cleaning and UX polishing. Enjoy a refined interface and smoother navigation for a better overall experience when logging projects or running calculations. General performance improvements and under-the-hood optimizations.

Version 2.12.0 introduces a new Cut List (Dimensional) workflow with visual board diagrams, improved stock/profile handling, and a cleaner summary view for purchase order + expected offcuts. We also added Quotes & Invoices settings with default Terms & Conditions, improved saved sheet-goods re-optimize editing, and delivered bug and ui fixes across the app.

This update mostly just handles changing the cut list optimizer measurements over to mm per many requests from our users overseas. It also enhances the history/saved cut lists functionality, including sharing and editing. Some other little bug fixes have been implemented as well.

2.7.0 — Journal measurements, inventory keyboard fixes, and stability Shop journal now supports multiple measurements per entry with full editing; inventory and category-field forms no longer get blocked by the keyboard; plus React warnings and bug fixes across the app. • Shop journal: save a set of measurements per entry (e.g. Length, Width, Height) with labels and units; edit any measurement's value, label, and units from Entry Details. • Journal measurement numbers are no longer squished—improved spacing and line height when entering, viewing, and editing. • Inventory: editing an item or adding one now keeps inputs visible above the on-screen keyboard with dynamic padding and scroll. • Settings → Inventory categories → Edit fields: Add/Edit field modals no longer have content hidden or over-scrolled when the keyboard appears. • Various React warnings and bugs fixed for a more stable experience.

Overhauled the inventory feature to start fresh and fix many bugs and issues. No change should be seen on the user's end, and their current inventory will be preserved, BUT they may lose some custom fields in certain categories. I apologize if that happens to you. Future updates will be OTC, and user's will get an "Update Available" popup. We will not have to kep adding minor versions unless we release new features or other big updates.
