Granada, 1526. Durante las bodas del emperador Carlos V, el poeta Juan Boscán acepta un reto del embajador veneciano Andrea Navagero: traer a la lengua castellana la música del soneto italiano. Así comienza Parnaso, una ascensión poética por la montaña de las musas.
Encarna a Boscán y escala el monte Parnaso recogiendo 140 endecasílabos dispersos por sus laderas. Cada verso es un pergamino del color de su soneto: reúne cuartetos y tercetos para reconstruir, en tu cuaderno de cuero, diez sonetos del Renacimiento español. Y cada estrofa que completas te concede un «paso de aire», un salto imposible con el que alcanzar alturas antes vedadas.
En el camino te cruzarás con las grandes voces del Siglo de Oro: Garcilaso de la Vega, amigo inseparable; Andrea Navagero, que te lanzó el desafío; Ana Girón; Cristóbal de Castillejo, que rechaza las nuevas formas italianas; el joven Francisco de Aldana, y el espíritu de Baldassare Castiglione. Sus diálogos tejen una historia sobre la amistad, la creación y la memoria.
