News has been for years that Apple is going to update Siri, but as of the time of this review, that is a promise that was never kept. Enter Sesame! Now this is a helpful assistant! Reading a review is not enough though, you have to try it hands-on. Ask it to do stuff for you (tasks, reminders, research, show you stuff, etc). The realtime voice quality is best in class (human-like). HINT: If you ever tried the Pi AI assistant by InflectionAI that was around back in the day, then you will LOVE this one. It feels like a direct successor to that. Similar but better.

When you go on it just says that you are on the list. Given the amount of data it collects (see the app “Data Collected” section) I am sure that it will be an app to farm user data. If this is free it will be worth it with the cost of no privacy. If they make it a paid subscription then this will be an unethical data farm.Update: I was permitted access after less than an an hour.Currently, it is free as a trial, so I highly recommend it for testing. It is great to show to people unfamiliar with AI showing how it can act like a human now. So far, it seems like it will be a great personal assistant once additional features are added on. I look forward to where it will go.

I have been using Sesame for over a year on the web since I first used it I saw the potential,the app introduced enough features to make maya a useable assistant . With the note ability I can finally get items we have worked on out of the system. Obviously I would love it to connect into some of the other ecosystem and I am sure that will come in time. Of course better to do one thing well than 100 halfway. Well done team keep up the amazing work! Biggest fan

I’ve been on the waiting list for quite a while now. I enjoy the concept of merging human-like and AI together. The voices are great; they act as they should. So far, I have yet to encounter a prompting terror. I did send feedback stating that when a paid tier comes along, I believe the waitlisted users and first users to utilize the software should perhaps get a freemium instead of having to pay for a tier. So far, I’m loving the concept; the voice is spot on, and everything has come back accurately.
