Pala: Visual Daily Planner, Time Blocking & ADHD Schedule
Hey everyone,
I really hope this little app brings you some peace.
Pala means “a moment” in Sanskrit. That’s what this app is all about — helping you handle your moments with a bit more calm and clarity instead of feeling constantly overwhelmed.
A couple of months ago, at 28, I finally got diagnosed with ADHD. For the longest time I thought everyone’s brain worked like mine — racing thoughts, forgetting important things, starting tons of stuff and finishing almost nothing. I spent years quietly beating myself up, thinking I was just lazy or bad at life. Work, relationships, everything suffered. Getting the diagnosis was such a relief. It helped me stop fighting myself and start working with my brain instead.
I tried so many planners and productivity apps, but most of them felt like extra work. So I decided to build something simpler and kinder — an app I genuinely wished existed for myself.
What makes me happiest is that Pala isn’t just mine anymore. Almost half the features came from listening to real people on Reddit who shared their struggles and wishes. I hang out a lot in r/palamy, reading your stories, answering questions, and slowly adding the things that actually help. It’s slowly growing into a small, kind community of people who just want tools that understand us. I’d love for you to come say hi if you feel like it.
Here’s what I’ve poured into Pala so far:
You get a beautiful Circular Time Blocking Clock that shows your whole day on a friendly 24-hour face. It’s visual, simple, and makes time blocking feel natural instead of stressful. You can see your free time, overlaps, and schedule at a glance.
Adding tasks is super easy thanks to the AI. Just type or speak naturally — like “Help me finish my report, go to the gym at 5, call mom, and don’t forget the milk” — and it plans your day for you. It even helps move missed tasks forward so nothing important slips away.
Pala also checks the weather for you, so you’re not accidentally planning outdoor stuff on rainy days. It’s a small touch, but it really helps make plans feel realistic.
When you need to focus, there’s a clean, full-screen Focus Mode with Pomodoro that keeps distractions away. And on days when you’re not feeling productive at all (we all have them), you can open the journal, speak your thoughts or write them down, and the AI will gently listen and help you reflect.
Everything stays in perfect sync across your iPhone, iPad, and Mac through iCloud.
Over time, Pala quietly shows you gentle insights about your progress — no pressure, no judgment, just helpful information so you can see how you’re doing.
I built this because I needed it badly. I’m still learning and improving every week based on what the community shares. If you’re someone who struggles with traditional planners, I truly hope Pala feels different — softer, more visual, and more understanding of how our brains actually work.
Thank you for even considering giving it a try. Your moments really do matter, and I hope this app helps you enjoy them a little more.
Warmly,

This app is great! It has a focus timer, syncs my other calendars and to do lists. Quick and simple setup. I’ve tried many productivity apps and this one is the best I’ve come across. The AI feature makes is even better, I love the clock on the Home Screen too.

Awesome UI

Love the app, the UI is intuitive and beautiful. The AI agent works well and understands my requests. Would love to see events added in the app sync with apple calendars. Also custom icons instead of emojis.
Hey friends,
Thank you for being here and for all your support. This update is a big one. I have poured a lot of love, feedback from the r/palamy community, and many late nights into making Pala even gentler and more helpful for your daily life.
Major New Features:
Completely Redesigned Circular Clock. We have made the 24-hour time blocking clock smoother, more beautiful, and even easier to use. Drag tasks with better precision, see overlaps more clearly, and enjoy a calmer, cleaner visual experience that finally makes planning feel good instead of stressful.
Smarter AI Planning Assistant. The AI is now significantly better at understanding natural conversation. You can now say things like Plan a relaxed but productive Monday with some outdoor time if the weather is nice and it will create a realistic, balanced schedule for you. It also got much better at handling recurring tasks and gently suggesting better time slots.
Missed Tasks Recovery. Never lose track of important things again. A new smart section automatically collects tasks you missed and lets you reschedule them with one tap or simply ask the AI to move all missed tasks to today.
Enhanced Weather-Aware Planning. Now shows hourly weather forecast directly on your daily clock so you can make smarter decisions about outdoor versus indoor tasks.
Improved Focus Mode. Cleaner full-screen Pomodoro experience with new gentle sound options, progress rings, and the ability to quickly add a quick 10-minute focus session from the home screen.
Voice Journaling 2.0. Record your thoughts hands-free and the AI will now help summarize your voice entries beautifully, turning messy thoughts into gentle reflections.
Full iPad Support. Pala now fully supports iPad with optimized screens for all sizes. The app feels native and beautiful on the bigger display.
Massive Performance Improvements. The app is now up to 10 times faster and smoother after moving to the latest technologies and frameworks.
Better Apple Services Integration. Added deeper support for Apple native features including improved iCloud sync, better widget support, and other system integrations for a more seamless experience.
Other Loving Touches:
Dark mode has been refined for better readability on the clock face. New subtle animations that feel calming instead of distracting. Better accessibility support with larger text and VoiceOver improvements. Many small performance and stability fixes based on your reports. And overall UI polish to make the app feel warmer and more premium.
This update is dedicated to all of you who shared your honest feedback and wishes in the community. Pala is truly becoming our app, not just mine.
I am still actively listening every single day on r/palamy. If theres something you are missing or wish worked differently, please come tell me. I read every message.
Thank you for trusting Pala with your precious moments. I hope this version helps you feel more calm, organized, and kind to yourself.
