QuantumNative

Quantum, explained honestly

Free · In‑App Purchases

New, free and no sign-in: start with two classic experiments, then see quantum as geometry. Predict, redraw from memory, explain in your words. 46 levels, 7 languages. No hype. Just quantum, explained honestly. Quantum computing finally makes sense. QuantumNative turns one of the hardest subjects in science into a guided journey you can actually finish — starting from two classic experiments and simple pictures, made precise step by step, all the way to real quantum algorithms. And it never pretends to know more than it does. NEW: FROM EXPERIMENTS TO GEOMETRY — FREE, NO SIGN-IN • Start with two short experiments where everyday intuition fails — three polarizers and an interferometer — and three rules that explain them • See the same rules as an arrow on a circle: gates turn it, measuring casts its shadow, two mirror flips make a turn — up to complex numbers and two entangled qubits • Predict before you run, redraw the picture from memory (Apple Pencil, finger or typed numbers), replay how you drew it, and explain it in one sentence • Your drawing replay and your sentence stay on your device; every experiment is simulated and labelled as such HONESTY YOU CAN SEE • AI tutor answers carry a visible verification badge — a green Verified badge when it comes straight from the reviewed knowledge base, AI-checked when it aligns with it, Low confidence when it doesn't — so you always know how much weight to give it • The check runs in your language, and answers that repeat a known misconception are downgraded on the spot • Concept pages show the sources they rest on, and fast-moving facts carry an "as of" date • Open questions are labeled as open: where scientists still disagree, the app says so A CONCEPT LIBRARY THAT KEEPS GROWING — NOW 77 CONCEPTS • Every concept verified against real sources — from qubits, gates, and algorithms to how today's quantum hardware works • Now covering the frontier: logical qubits and error correction, magic states, topological qubits (with the honest state of that debate) and quantum-safe encryption • Each concept comes with a plain-language analogy, a precise definition, the common misconceptions to avoid, and a practice quiz — in 7 languages • Animated visualizations that make the invisible visible — now one for every advanced topic MEET LUMEN, YOUR QUANTUM TUTOR Lumen answers in plain language, adapts its explanations to your level and background, and speaks all 7 languages. It is built to be honest: it stays grounded in verified lessons and tells you when it isn't sure instead of bluffing. Ask anything, get unstuck, and learn the why — not just the what. A CURRICULUM THAT BUILDS • A structured 46-level path from "What is a qubit?" to today's frontier topics — levels 1–5 are free • Bite-sized, gamified lessons with XP, badges, streaks, and daily challenges A REAL HANDS-ON LAB (PRO) • Guided gate missions and qubit puzzles tied to the levels you are learning • A step-by-step sandbox that simulates the circuit you build and samples its results — clearly labelled as a simulation LEARN ANYWHERE — AND PICK UP WHERE YOU LEFT OFF • Sign in and your progress — levels, XP, streaks and tutor conversations — syncs across iPhone, iPad and Mac • Start a lesson, ask the tutor or open the daily quiz with Siri and Shortcuts • Core lessons work offline FREE TO START Take the new geometry path and the first five levels for free and ask the AI tutor a few questions a day at no cost. Upgrade to Pro to unlock the full 46-level curriculum, 200 tutor messages a day, and the hands-on lab. Whether you're a complete beginner, a student or teaching yourself, QuantumNative is a friendly place to start and a deep place to stay. — Pro is an auto-renewable subscription. A new way to start: from experiments to geometry. • New in Campus, before the numbered levels: "From experiments to geometry". Two short experiments where everyday intuition fails (three polarizers and an interferometer), three rules that explain them, then the same rules drawn as an arrow on a circle, up to complex numbers and two entangled qubits. Free, and no sign-in needed. • Predict before you run: every experiment asks for your prediction first, then explains each answer, including why the everyday guess goes wrong. • Redraw from memory: at the end of a lesson the picture is hidden and you rebuild it with Apple Pencil, your finger, or by typing the numbers. All three are checked the same way. • Replay how you drew it: see your strokes, pauses and corrections again. This record stays on your device only. It is not sent anywhere or used for research, and resetting the lesson removes it. • Explain it in words: write one sentence, then compare it with a model explanation and common misconceptions. Your sentence is not sent anywhere. • All experiments are simulated on your device and labelled as such. For the polarizers, you can also try the real thing with three pieces of polarizing film. • "Go to Lab" after a lesson now opens the Workbench free experiment, and several new lessons have a "Try it in Workbench" button. • More accurate explanations: we rewrote lessons, quizzes and concept pages that described a qubit as a spinning coin or as "0 and 1 at the same time". Entanglement lessons now make clear that no message travels, and application lessons say which advantages are still research. • Research study (optional, adults only): the consent screen now says plainly that shared data is linked to your account ID (pseudonymous, not anonymous) and lists what is collected. Withdrawing stops sending at once and discards anything not yet sent, and the pilot survey appears only to adults who opted in. Also new since the last App Store version: • The tutor asks before sending your question to the cloud when it cannot answer on your device, and answers it cannot verify are folded behind an "Unverified answer" notice. • Tutor conversations are saved: reopen one, continue it, or delete it. • When you reach the daily tutor limit, the app shows when it refills and offers on-device alternatives. • AI credits are kept in your account, so they survive a reinstall or a change of device. • Workbench: the sandbox simulates the circuit you build, Bridge console numbers come from the run that was actually simulated, and a new Calibration Lab card is labelled as an illustrative simulation. • The Oracle game now says its random numbers are ordinary ones, not quantum. • Levels 25 to 46 are fully translated into all 7 languages. • Finishing a lesson marks the level complete and awards its XP, and quiz scores are saved. • Siri and Shortcuts open the right screen. • Fixed a bug that could sign you out right after signing in, and purchases are delivered more reliably. • The activity ticker on Home is gone, because its numbers were not real. Thank you for learning quantum with us!
