MaritimeLogs is a personal voyage logbook for tracking hours, tasks, roles, vessels and goals, built for anyone serious enough about their time on the water to keep a proper record. Deckhands, masters, engineers, yacht crew, fishing crews, recreational sailors, and people working toward marine certifications.
MaritimeLogs is your personal record, not a regulator's official logbook. Formal sea service is verified separately by your employer, flag state or certifying body. But the data you capture maps directly onto the fields required by Maritime NZ Sea Service Records (SRL), MCA testimonials, USCG sea service letters and similar official forms. Print it, have your master sign it, and your formal paperwork becomes quick and accurate to complete.

LOG A VOYAGE IN SECONDS
Start and end times with automatic hour calculation. Day and night hours split automatically, or on the real local sunrise and sunset if you turn on Solar mode, calculated on-device with the NOAA astronomical algorithm. Location is read only when you tap Quick Fill, and never stored.
EVERY DETAIL THAT MATTERS LATER
Vessel, primary role, voyage type, area, master on watch, tasks performed, goals progressed, people assisted, lessons learnt. Twelve real-time validation rules stop a bad entry before it's saved.
