Terracotta keeps every plant alive and thriving with simple watering reminders, a full care calendar, a plant journal, species-based suggestions, and a home-screen widget. No subscription. No account. It works completely offline, and your data stays on your device.
Keeping plants healthy comes down to timing, and timing is easy to lose track of across a windowsill full of them. Terracotta holds the whole routine in one quiet place so nothing is missed.
- Watering reminders you fully control. Set any interval and edit any date, with no fixed schedule forced on you. Mark a plant watered and its next reminder moves forward on its own.
- Reminders at a time that suits you. Local notifications arrive when you choose and reschedule automatically whenever you log care, so you are nudged, never nagged.
- More than watering. Track fertilizing, pruning, repotting, pest treatment, rotating and misting, each on its own schedule, so a plant's whole routine lives in one place.
- Species-based suggestions. Name a plant and Terracotta checks a built-in, offline database of common houseplants and herbs to suggest a sensible starting watering interval. Apply it in one tap or set your own. It is always optional, and you stay in control.
- A care guide for each plant. When the species is known, open a guide with the feeding cadence, light needs and botanical name, so you know how to look after it without searching the web.
- A real plant journal. Add photos, notes, tags and a 1 to 5 health rating to every plant, then look back over weeks and months to see the health trend and watch them improve.
- A calm care calendar. An agenda-style view shows what needs care and when, in week, month and year modes. Every event is easy to find, and every event is easy to remove.
- Organize a whole collection. Give each plant a name, species, photo and location, so a home full of plants stays tidy and easy to scan at a glance.
- A watering streak. Keep your plants on schedule and build a streak that turns care into a habit that sticks.
- Home-screen and lock-screen widgets. See what needs care today, right where you glance most, so nothing slips through.
- Back up and move house. Export all your plants to a single file and import them back, for easy backups or moving to a new phone.
- Private by default. No sign-in and no cloud. Everything runs on your device and works fully offline.
Terracotta is free and supported by ads, with a one-time purchase to remove them whenever you like. A short rewarded video can also unlock a plant's care guide.
