With gear you have level, match 3 for skills, and mastery to care about. Leveling lets you build stats freely, going all in on one stat for glass cannon, luck, health, there is no gatekeeping for better or worse. Choosing your preferred measure of ads vs bonuses is really cool. Some buildings are unique and getting to a new one and wondering what it’ll be is fun. Walk forward until die, sometimes you get farther than previous attempts, sometimes not, but hoping you get a good drop or reach a building with something good in it. Consistently holding down the forward button, usually till you die, is a little boring but that’s honestly the only real issue with the game. It would be cool to see random encounters, both good and bad. Optional paths to toss up just moving forward. Cool game so far hope it grows.Lastly setting skills to manually would be awesome, how often you build up big skill damage only to use it on an enemy guarantee to die by basic attack happens often and not a great feeling when pushing goals, or at least have the game check before skill use if a basic attack would be lethal. Currently want to keep only gear with different skill types within each category and you have to manually check which and narrow out the weaker ones which is a little cumbersome. Overall great game and I hope it grows.

MinuteTreasure is a simple RPG about making numbers go up. There is more depth than you’d expect, but it’s ultimately a game you can play with one hand and a scrap of attention. I’ve played Okada’s games while rocking my infant back to sleep at 3am. I’ve played them when I was stuck in the hospital waiting for someone to get out of surgery. I can’t put to words exactly why I love these games so much, they just have *it*

I've been playing the Minute Series since middle school and gotten sucked in to each series since. 10 years later, and I'm still hooked on every new release. MinuteTreasure feels like a love letter to every game before it, with a new twist on progression. I'm only a few hours on, but can already tell I'll be aticking around a while.

Aside for being another entry of basic yet very playable time burners, I cannot help but notice the player sprites have been significantly improved from prior entries. The additional frames make the suicidal murderhobo feel far fluid and lively while endlessly charging to the right.
