why was gemma 4 E4B removed in the recent update to this appedit: I’m using an iPhone 17 Proedit2: also would be nice to see quantization options for models

You're totally right and this one's on us.In the last update we added a filter that matches each model's requirements against your device's specs and hides the ones that might crash - and Gemma E4B got caught up in it even though it was running just fine for you.We're already fixing it - moving to a "Recommended" list plus full access to every model, so nothing gets pulled out from under you.Quick question: which device are you on? That'll help us get the cutoffs right. Thanks again for flagging it!
