This is NOT the Stremio app. This is a fake app impersonating Stremio. Look at the name of it carefully: S T E R M I O, it even spelled properly. Immediately opening the app is an ad (the real Stremio app doesn’t have ads). After getting passed that, another ad popped up as a warning that my phone had been “hacked due to visiting adult websites”. If you’re careful and go to the right ones, that just doesn’t happen, but this isn’t even true anyway. It wants to you download another app to “clean” your device. I didn’t and advise others not to, as well. I deleted this app as soon as I saw that. Maybe it does work and plays media files, but I wouldn’t give it access to my device if they paid me. Stay far away from this app and find the real Stremio that won’t try to steal your data.

This app is impersonating the Stremio. The similar spelling Stremio vs Stermio (this app), similar logo style/colours and similar functionality are all designed to intentionally mislead users. From the moment this app loads, ads take over your screen claiming that your device has been hacked, and push you to download App Store apps that will claim to rectify the situation. Stay away!

Every click is an add. One of those apps that should be off the store. Impersonating the real app, which doesn’t exist. More than likely harvesting your data. Don’t even bother.
