Stats screens get a friendlier welcome The Books Finished, Books This Year, Current Streak, and Longest Streak detail screens now greet new readers with an illustrated screen and a clear first step — instead of a plain "no data yet" message. Welcome to your notification center New users will find a welcome notification waiting when they first open the app, explaining what the notification center is for. You'll know when a shield saves your streak When a streak shield automatically absorbs a missed day, you now receive a push notification so you never have to wonder what happened to your streak. Nudges for first-time readers If you signed up but haven't started your first reading session yet, the app will send a gentle reminder on day 1, 3, and 7 — routing you straight to the session setup screen. Get shields reminder When your shield count reaches zero, a prompt on the home screen reminds you to top up before your streak is at risk. Bug fixes - Sign in with Apple on the account linking screen no longer shows an error when the link actually succeeds - Friends feed now shows achievement names correctly instead of internal IDs

Streak Detail Tap your Current Streak or Longest Streak card to see every day of your streak as a beautiful grid. Reading days appear in your theme colour — shield days show in amber so you can see exactly how your streak stayed alive. Use the new share button to export your streak card as an image and send it to friends. Reading History Your Books Finished and Books This Year stats are now tappable. Both open a timeline showing every finished book grouped by month, with covers, titles, and authors — tap any book to jump straight to its detail page. Stats Tap a genre tag in your stats to browse all books in that genre from your library. The Session Length chart has been redesigned with weekly labels and interactive tooltips. Shields New users now start with 3 streak shields, giving you a head start before your first streak is at risk. Notifications Reading reminders now reference your most recently read book, making them feel more personal. Stability improvements.

The reading calendar now has three display modes: time read, pages read per day, and current page reached. Tap the icon in the top right to cycle between them. The active mode is shown inline next to your username. The reading activity heatmap now shows month labels so you can orient yourself at a glance. Tap any day on the heatmap to see the date and how many minutes you read that day. Bug fixes and performance improvements.

Level progress screen — tap your level badge on your profile to see all reader levels, XP thresholds, and your progress towards the next rank. Page updates extend your streak — manually updating your current page on a book now counts as a reading day and keeps your streak alive. Support button — find a Contact Support button in settings to reach us directly. Bug fixes and stability improvements — fixed an issue where the bottom nav bar occasionally required a double tap, resolved several crashes in the timer and session complete flow, and addressed a number of other stability issues.

Streak shields now correctly deduct when protecting your streak — no more shields staying full after a missed day. Streak timers and reminders now respect your local timezone — no more unexpected resets at the wrong time of night. Minor bug fixes and stability improvements.

Community Ratings Book search results and detail pages now show community ratings pulled from ISBNdb, Google Books, and Open Library — so you can see how a book is rated before you start reading. Edit Book Details Made a typo when adding a book? You can now edit the title, author, and genre of any book in your library from the book detail screen. Reading Activity on Friend Profiles Visit a friend's profile to see what they're currently reading and what they've recently finished. You control exactly what you share — toggle reading activity, ratings, and notes independently in Profile settings. Ratings & Notes in Your Activity Feed When a friend finishes a book, their rating and notes now appear directly in your activity feed. Book Club Search Improved Searching for a book inside a club now uses a smarter fallback — ISBNdb first, then Google Books, then Open Library — so you'll get results even when one source hits a rate limit. Scanner Flashlight The barcode scanner now has a flashlight button for scanning in low light. Goodreads import — bring your entire library, shelves, and read dates across in one step. Custom book covers — tap any cover to replace it with a photo from your camera roll, or upload one when adding a book manually. Live Activity — a live timer on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island shows your countdown and switches between reading and break phases automatically. Requires iPhone 14 Pro or later. Alarm sounds — choose a tone to play when your reading session or break ends. Current page tracking — log your page number after each session to keep your reading progress up to date. Bug fixes — corrected an issue where XP was not awarded correctly in some sessions.

Share Reading Stats Export your reading year, streak, and monthly calendar as images from the Stats tab.
