I am a full time parenting content creator who does not show my kids’ faces online. Suffice to say, it has been very difficult and time consuming to cover their faces with emojis, especially if they’re moving around in the video, and this app has already saved me so much time! Plus, the Kloaks you can choose from are adorable. Highly recommend!

A friend sent me an ad for this app and I thought “wow, this is just what I have been looking for.” Unfortunately, the app is very glitchy and is not as easy or seamless to use as other reviewers have mentioned. One example is when it auto-blurs it has soft edges, if I add a new blur Kloak now it’s this rough, ugly looking square. Sometimes when I go add a new Kloak the app freezes. If you split a blur and then delete the part you don’t want, it deletes the whole blur. One time I spent about 2 hours fixing the auto-blurs, and when I got to the last few frames the app crashed. When I got back in it said the video file didn’t exist and I had to start all over. If the subscription were cheaper I could maybe overlook these issues, but at $8 a month for it not to be a super easy, and user-friendly app, it’s just not worth it.

I really appreciate the new updates and can tell the owner is putting her all into this app to create something us parents can use so we can safely share our Littles! Having said, there is still room for improvement with the ease of use in editing the tracking and auto filters. Lots of glitches and hard to edit to fill in the gaps when the auto trackings still show faces. I think now while it’s still in the earlier stages of development, it’s not the best option for new and busy moms since it does take quite a bit of editing and manoeuvering.

Finally, I can feel confident when posting videos. I have avoided any videos of my child online because of how difficult it is to keep their face covered. Kloak has made it so easy, and the premium is very affordable. Thank you!!!!
