This release is about Apple Watch. We rebuilt how the wrist app talks to the iPhone so it actually does useful work, not just looks pretty.
WHAT YOU CAN DO FROM YOUR WRIST NOW
• Reprint — Tap to redo your most recent job, or open Recents to browse past jobs and pick exactly which one. Reuses original color and two-sided settings.
• Tools — A new launcher with six entries:
– Print clipboard: prints whatever's currently on your iPhone clipboard
– Camera Scan: opens the scanner on your iPhone
– Print Files / Photos: opens the right picker on iPhone
– Wi-Fi QR: generate a network QR for guests
– Sign PDF: open the signing flow on iPhone
• Live status — Printer name, Ready/Offline, paper count, and CMYK ink bars on the wrist. Updates the moment anything changes on iPhone.
• Diagnostics — Test Page, Rescan, and Ping tiles to verify the link is healthy.
iPHONE SETTINGS → APPLE WATCH — REBUILT
• Live pair and reachability state with a colored dot
• Last sync time and last activity from the Watch
• Resync now button to force-push fresh state
• Ping Watch button to verify the iPhone to Watch link round-trips
• Real preference toggles that actually save (Live activity, Crown dial)
CONNECTIVITY FIXES
• Watch sitting on "No printer connected" while iPhone had one paired — fixed with a proper handshake on Watch launch.
• "Payload could not be delivered" error on the Ping button — fixed by implementing the missing reply-handler delegate.
• Watch tiles that lied about their function — replaced with screens that actually do what their label says.
REAL LOCALIZATION
Printer status used to ship over the wire as English and the Watch displayed that verbatim regardless of locale. Now each device renders status in its own language. All 12 supported locales: Arabic, Chinese (Simplified), Danish, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, plus English.
