The Turbulence Forecast (also called the turbulence estimator or turbulence predictor) is the heart of Steady for nervous flyers. Type your flight number or route, pick your departure date, and Steady pulls live pilot reports (PIREPs) and weather advisories (SIGMETs) within 100 nautical miles of your flight path. It blends them with seasonal jet-stream patterns and the typical character of that specific route — climb, cruise, descent — and translates it all into a calm, honest preview. You see an overall smoothness score, a confidence percentage, a segment-by-segment breakdown, a timeline chart, and a short, reassuring note from the cabin crew. No drama. No surprises. Just gentle, prepared knowing.
Flying can feel overwhelming. The sudden rumbles, the mysterious dings, the drops you didn't expect — your nervous system is working hard to keep you safe, even when you don't need it to. Steady is built for exactly those moments, whether you're sitting at the gate or somewhere over the Atlantic.
Every sound, voice, and screen in Steady is pre-loaded on your device. Airplane mode is completely fine. No Wi-Fi, no signal, no problem. Everything you need to move from panic to calm is already there, waiting.
When anxiety spikes mid-flight, one tap on the SOS button launches guided 4-4-4-4 box breathing with a soothing, unhurried voice. There's no fumbling through menus or hunting for settings. Just one button, and calm begins immediately.
The 5-4-3-2-1 grounding exercise walks you gently through your senses, anchoring your mind back to the present moment. Soft haptics pulse as glowing constellations guide each step — giving your racing thoughts somewhere quiet to land.
