Name folders on extract: just like compressing, you can now choose a name for the extracted folder before extraction starts. Extract & compress now feel great: finishing a compress or extract now ends with a satisfying tap and a quick checkmark animation, so you always know it's done. Custom icon colours go further: your chosen icon color now also shows up in the archive-naming dialog, the compress/extract screen, and other dialogs across the app, not just your file list. Tools menu fix: the X button now properly closes the Icon Color and Import menus, instead of requiring a tap elsewhere on screen.

Launch Screen: Fixed the launching animation being cut off in the middle of the screen

- New launch animation: Uzip now opens with a redesigned zipper animation on a fresh dark navy launch screen. - Custom icon colors: Personalize the color of your folder and file icons. Pick from a curated palette or choose any color you like, and it updates instantly across your file list and grid. - Streamlined toolbar: The old “+” button is now “…” and opens a single Tools menu for importing files and customizing your icon color, keeping the bottom bar clean and consolidated.

Camera import now works correctly: large photos can be imported and no longer appear black after being taken and imported into the app.

Photos and videos now display as full-size thumbnails in the grid, filling the entire card with a clean filename label overlay at the bottom. Tapping a ZIP or archive that contains images now opens a photo grid preview, so you can see what's inside before you extract anything.

Enabled File Renaming: Users are now able to rename any file, folder, or archive without leaving the app.

Bug fixes & improvements Thanks to everyone who wrote in — here's what's been fixed: Search - the search bar at the bottom of the file browser now works. Type to filter your files instantly, tap × to clear, or hit Cancel to dismiss the keyboard. Add menu - the "From Files / From Photos / From Camera" menu no longer hides behind the search bar. No more duplicates - importing a file that's already in the current folder now shows a clear notice instead of creating a duplicate. Better tap targets - every option in the file action menu is now fully tappable across the entire row, not just on the icon or text. Select All - when you tap Select, a new "Select All" button appears so you can grab everything at once. Tap it again to deselect all.
