CC Beacon Sim

CrowdConnected Developer Tools

Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Internal tool for broadcasting simulated BLE beacons during SDK testing sessions CC Beacon Sim is a public developer tool for the CrowdConnected SDK team. It connects to a live simulation session (via QR code scan or deep link) and physically broadcasts BLE beacons — iBeacon and Eddystone-UID — using the device's Bluetooth LE advertiser. This allows engineers to test the CrowdConnected indoor positioning SDK against real BLE signals without deploying physical beacon hardware. How it works: 1. A simulation session is created in the CrowdConnected dev tool. 2. The QR code or deep link is scanned on this device. 3. The dev tool sends BLE beacon configurations over the session. 4. CC Beacon Sim broadcasts those beacons immediately via BLE advertising. 5. A second device running the CrowdConnected SDK picks up the broadcasts and runs normal indoor positioning. This app is intended for use by developers and QA engineers.
