Nightlore: Bedtime Stories

Sleep tales starring your kid

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Nightlore is the coziest ritual a family has ever had — and, underneath, the most intentional. You choose the person you hope your child becomes. Then every night, your child becomes the hero of an ongoing, illustrated bedtime saga written to plant that character and carry it into real life. The story is the star. Everything else stays quietly in the background. It is not another pile of stories. It is one book, written one night at a time, that your family keeps. HOW A NIGHT WORKS • Open the app. One warm light — the lantern — waits. Tap it, and tonight's chapter begins. • Your child, by name, is the hero: their pronouns, the things they love, the qualities you're nurturing, all woven into the tale. • Each chapter ends by planting a tiny real-world quest — "tomorrow, find someone who looks lonely and sit with them." The next night honors what really happened, and it becomes part of the saga forever. • The last line lands as your child drifts off — a calm, first-person thought tuned to the character you chose: "and as she closed her eyes, she knew: I am someone who is brave." CHOOSE WHO THEY'RE BECOMING Most children's apps do kindness and courage. Nightlore lets you compose a whole person — bold but kind, curious and calm, a big dreamer who works hard — from a menu of real qualities. Courage, kindness, honesty, patience, creativity, calm, and a distinctive lane most apps skip entirely: ambition, leadership, and a healthy money mindset, shown as a hero who makes, trades, leads, and builds. HEAR THEIR NAME IN THE STORY (with Nightlore Pro) Turn on read-aloud and the warm storyteller speaks the same child name shown on the page. No recording step, no generic substitute — the personalized story simply sounds personalized. A GENTLE PICTURE OF THEIR GROWTH Nightlore quietly keeps a "who they're becoming" view for you — the qualities taking root, the real quests they've taken on, and a warm monthly letter about the person your child is turning into. Never a score. Never a report card. Just a reflection. MADE FOR BEDTIME, NOT FOR SCROLLING Low light. Slow motion. Few words. Warm ink. No badges, no streaks, no feed. Nightlore lowers the volume of the world so a child can let go of the day. From open to tonight's chapter is a single tap. BUILT FOR PARENTS WHO CARE ABOUT PRIVACY You hold the account. Your child never signs in. Before anything is created, Nightlore explains that read-aloud sends the story and your child's first name to its voice service. You decide up front, can pause story creation, and can delete everything at any time. Nightlore Pro unlocks a new chapter every night and personalized read-aloud. The first chapters of the saga are always free. Light the lantern. Tell tonight's chapter. Plant one true thing. Let the night end. Nightlore requires a Nightlore Pro subscription for unlimited nightly chapters. The first chapters are free. Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled in Settings.
