Version 2.0 adds a dedicated World Cup updates tab with the latest tournament news, images, summaries, and links to full ESPN articles. It also adds a live Goal Scorers and Golden Boot table based on match events, with own goals excluded. News supports refresh and remains available from cache between launches. This update also improves compatibility with the latest iOS release.

Version 1.4 keeps live fixtures and results refreshed every five minutes, adds a compact live or next match card on Home, fixes updated group results including Group H, and moves finished matches into group results.

Version 1.3 adds Players to Watch for every confirmed match, featuring key players from both teams. Goal notifications are now grouped for easier tracking and can mirror to a paired Apple Watch, with an Open Match action. Knockout fixtures show featured players automatically as teams are confirmed. Results and group standings through 15 June have also been verified against FIFA, including the corrected USA-Paraguay score.

Version 1.2 adds confirmed match results and automatic group standings with points, goal difference, head-to-head sorting, recent team form, and knockout progression. It also adds favourite-team notification settings and test goal alerts.
