Two hundred and forty-five tales. The canonical 1857 corpus, the ten Children's Legends, and thirty-five Paralipomena the Grimms collected then withdrew. Four reading variants per tale: the original Deutsch, Margaret Hunt's 1884 Victorian English, a modernized translation, and a Junior re-telling for ages four to twelve.

No algorithm. No infinite scroll. A daily tale chosen by the calendar — the same date returns the same tale, every time.

A parent-locked mode narrows the library to sixty hand-rewritten Junior tales, with on-page violence removed. The German, Victorian, and Modern variants disappear. The Gallery hides. Exit requires the parent PIN. The PIN is hashed locally, never transmitted (the app has no network), and three wrong attempts triggers an escalating cooldown.
