StampRescue: Park Stamp Finder
National Park Passport Journal
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
New: park pages now carry notes and tips from visitors who were actually there — plus the journal that fills itself from your photos, and a 63-park bucket list.
Your national park journal now fills itself.
StampRescue finds the national parks, monuments, and physical passport stamp stations near you — and quietly turns the photos you already took into a record of every park you have ever visited.
YOUR JOURNAL FILLS ITSELF
Open the app and StampRescue checks your newest photos for parks you visited. When it finds one, a stamp drops into your journal with a little celebration. No check-ins, no typing, no forms.
• Automatic visit detection from your photo library
• A stamp animation the moment a new park is collected
• An optional notification when new stamps are waiting for you
• Your very first scan rebuilds years of past trips at once
Come home from a road trip, open StampRescue, and the parks are already there.
FIND PASSPORT STAMP STATIONS
The finder that started it all is still here, and still works offline.
• Search national parks, monuments, historic sites, and seashores
• Find the physical passport stamp stations reported at each site
• See distance, opening hours, and whether a station is open right now
• Browse an interactive map of parks near you or along your route
• Check park details before you drive out of your way
Know which park to visit and where to look for the cancellation stamp before you arrive.
NOTES FROM PEOPLE WHO WERE ACTUALLY THERE
New: every park page now carries notes left by other visitors — where the stamp desk really is, which entrance to use, what the rangers told them.
• Leave a note or a tip on any park you have visited
• Notes from people the app verified as visitors carry a badge
• Tap the heart on a park you love, and see what others love
• Reply to a note, or hide anyone you would rather not hear from
• Pick a display name, or leave it blank and post anonymously
Ask the people who just came back, not a search engine.
A BUCKET LIST YOU CAN FINISH
Pick the parks you dream of visiting and watch the number climb: 23 of 63 National Parks.
• Add all 63 National Parks to your list with one tap
• Or build your own list of monuments, seashores, and historic sites
• Visits you collect check themselves off automatically
SHARE THE STAMP
Every collected park can become a stamp-seal image with the park name and the date you were there — ready for Instagram, Messages, or anywhere you want to show off the trip.
MAKE YOUR OWN PHOTO STAMPS
Turn a favorite park photo into a personal Photo Stamp that combines the picture, the park name, your visit date, and a collectible stamp design. Perfect for the parks where you forgot to get the real cancellation stamp.
PLAN THE NEXT TRIP
Build a multi-park route in a sensible order for your itinerary, and get National Park Service alerts for closures and conditions before you go.

PRIVACY
Photo scanning happens entirely on your device. Your photos and their locations are never uploaded and never leave your phone — no account required.
Visit counts leave your device anonymously: which parks were visited on which days, with no name, no account, and no photos attached. That is what lets the app show how busy a park has been lately.
The only other thing that leaves your phone is what you deliberately post. A note or a heart is public and carries the display name you choose — leave it blank and you stay anonymous. Delete any note whenever you like, and Settings has a one-tap Delete my shared data that removes everything you have posted. Still no account, still no photos.
Find the park. Find the stamp. Remember the visit.

Ratings & Reviews
Park pages now have people in them.
• NOTES FROM REAL VISITORS — every park page carries notes and tips left by other people: where the stamp desk actually is, which entrance to use, what the rangers said. Notes from visitors the app verified carry a badge.
• LEAVE YOUR OWN — post a note on any park you have been to, reply to someone else, and tap the heart on the parks you love.
• YOUR NAME, YOUR CALL — pick a display name or leave it blank and post anonymously. Change it later and it updates everywhere you have written.
• QUIET BY DEFAULT — hide anyone you would rather not hear from, delete your own notes anytime, and Settings has a one-tap Delete my shared data.
Photo scanning still happens entirely on your device. Only what you deliberately post is public.
