Sipcare
Caregiver fluid intake log
$1.99 · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Sipcare is a no-nonsense fluid intake tracker for caregivers - built for family members and adult-care professionals who log fluids for more than one person and need a clean shift handoff.
WHY SIPCARE
Most water trackers are personal. They assume one phone, one person, one target. Caregivers often track two, three, or four people across a long day. Sipcare is built around that: every patient gets a card with their name, optional age, and daily fluid target. A glance shows you the running total, the percentage of target, and a four-zone colorbar - red, amber, green, aqua - so you can tell across the room who needs a sip next.
PATIENT CARDS
- Name, optional age, daily target in ounces or milliliters
- Today's running total and percentage of target
- Four-zone colorbar: red 0–25%, amber 25–75%, green 75–100%, aqua 100%+
- Last-sip timestamp ("12 min ago", "2h ago")
QUICK-ADD IN TWO TAPS
Each card has a row of quick-add tiles - Water, Tea, Juice, Soup, Other - with the most common caregiver portions pre-filled. Tap the tile, confirm the amount, add a note ("declined", "via straw", "with meds") if needed, and the sip is logged with a timestamp.
DAY TIMELINE
The Today tab is a chronological list of every entry across every patient - newest first, with the patient name, the fluid type, the amount, and the note. Hand off the phone at the end of your shift and the next caregiver sees exactly what was offered, by whom, and when.
WEEKLY CHART
Each patient's detail screen has a 7-day bar chart drawn with Swift Charts, color-coded by zone, with a dashed line at the daily target. Spot the dry day, the strong day, the trend.
OPTIONAL REMINDERS
Turn on hydration reminders and Sipcare schedules a gentle "offer a sip" notification for each patient - every 4 hours by default, between 8 AM and 8 PM. Window and interval are configurable. No notifications are scheduled until you opt in, and turning them off cancels every pending one.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Sipcare has no account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking, no subscription, and no developer backend. Patients, entries, notes, and preferences live in this app's local storage on this device. Nothing leaves the device.
SCOPE
Sipcare is a caregiver log, not a medical device. It records the values you enter and renders totals; it does not advise on dosing, does not connect to health records, and does not collect protected health information.
Sipcare is a one-time paid utility for caregivers who want fast, visible, multi-patient fluid tracking - without an account, a cloud, or a subscription.
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
This update sharpens the interface: the iPad layout now uses a centered, comfortable reading width instead of stretching edge to edge, plus small display fixes. iPhone is unchanged.
