The four-way pad now has company: a floating joystick that centres wherever your thumb lands, and Turn Buttons — TURN LEFT and TURN RIGHT in the bottom corners, where your thumbs already rest. Two quick presses make a corner. Choose in Settings or straight from the pause menu. • The pad answers on touch. Presses register the instant your thumb lands instead of waiting for the gesture to finish, sliding across the arms turns at each one you cross, and a second finger takes over from the first. • No more refused presses. A quick third tap now replaces the turn queued behind it instead of being rejected with a buzz. • Snap Movement. If you steer by button, switch the glide off and the snake sits squarely in its cell — so a turn never looks late. • Know before you press. The game over screen now tells you when an ad is coming, and whether watching it earns you coins. • Change your Pro plan. Switch between monthly and yearly from inside the app, and see at a glance which one you're on. • Multiplayer looks like the real game. The versus board now matches single player, and both fill the whole screen. Also fixed: • The Golden skin crashed constantly for anyone wearing it. • The settings screen failed to open for some players. • A crash when the combo timer ran down. • Free coins are ready sooner — the rewarded ad is loaded by the time you reach the home screen.

The game now runs at your screen's full refresh rate, so the snake, the trail and every menu move as smoothly as your phone can draw them. Fixed a bug where two quick turns in a row could cancel each other out, sometimes sending you straight into your own tail. • A whole new arcade look. Home, game over, the store, leaderboards, tournaments, replays and every dialog now share one bracketed arcade frame. • A HUD you can actually read. Bigger score and food count on every phone, and level progress is now a full-width snake gauge instead of a cramped little card. • Power-ups last longer. They sit on the board longer and run longer once collected. • A second chance, twice. You can now revive twice in a single run. • Free trials are visible. Both Pro plans have always included one — now the app actually tells you. Also fixed: • Tapping a notification no longer freezes the app on the splash screen. • Tournament links open the tournament properly. • Music and sound effects no longer drop out. • Messages and prompts now appear in your language everywhere. • Various crash fixes.
