see who's in a Snip — friends tag each other, and now the tags live on the photo itself. tap the little person badge to see everyone in it, walk into their story, or take yourself off with one tap. be a face, not a letter — illustrated looks join the avatar picker: a bear, a ghost, a black cat, a marshmallow, a slime, and more. also in this one: pull down to refresh your activity, and the back button behaves after opening a Snip from the widget.

• Activity — likes, comments, adds and nudges all land in one place, so a moment can't vanish with a banner you swiped away. Notifications off? You still get every one of them. • Share a Snip as a link — the photo shows up right in the chat, and whoever taps it can add you back with one button. Sharing your day is the invite. • Pull the friends feed down to catch up. The circle fills like water and tops off the moment the days land. • Tap a day in the feed to open it full-screen and uncropped, then close straight back to where you were. Their profile is still one tap away on their name. • Pinch, drag and double-tap to lean into a photo — the face at the back of the shot, what the sign actually said. • Screens now wait as the thing they're about to be instead of spinning at you. • Hebrew and other right-to-left phones keep the layout the right way round.

The friends feed found its speed. Scrolling through your circle's days is smooth now, even when there's a lot to catch up on. And the tab opens instantly — the feed you left is already there when you arrive, refreshing quietly while you look. No more spinner, no more waiting on your people.

One last look before it's forever. Every capture now shows you what you shot, with two ways forward: Retake it, or Seal forever. Photos and videos both — a video plays back so you can hear it before you decide. Nothing is saved until you seal. Comments are a conversation now. Each day carries one thread. Everyone who can see the Snip reads the whole thing and can answer anyone in it — including you. Replies, hearts on every comment, and a heart (like) and bubble under every friend's Snip the way a post is answered everywhere else. Comments left before this update stay exactly where they were promised: between their author and the owner. Say something without leaving the feed. Tapping a friend's day opens the thread right where you're standing, with an emoji palette above the field. Tag the people in your Snip. Your friends are the list, and an @handle search reaches everyone else. They get a notification, and you can always take your own name off someone else's Snip. Your face, in one tap. Setting a profile photo now leads with the photo: take a selfie, or use the Snip you just captured. Signed in with Google? Your picture is already there, waiting to be confirmed. Capsules got a big update. • Making a capsule is fast now — your Snips drop onto the page in a blink. • Shuffle deals a cleaner spread — no more days buried under each other. • My Capsules opens instantly — previews are cached and load in a flash. • Save a capsule as a video and it comes out sharp — and it loops, with your song playing all the way through. • Got a few days saved up? Capsules are here: Take a few Snips and make something of them. One tap restyles the whole thing, then add stickers, draw and write on it, and pin a real song. Save it as a picture or a video, keep it in My Capsules, and open it again any time — a capsule stays editable forever. Hand it to your friends: A shared capsule lands on your page for them to find, and they can leave an emoji or a few words on it. Changed your mind? Stop sharing with one tap. Your people, out from behind an icon: A tray of everyone's day up top, a tab of their own, and every day they've kept — tap any face to walk through their story. The globe moved down to the bar, so the whole world's day is one tap from anywhere. Once today's Snip is in, the app opens on your friends instead of your own timeline, and the camera button becomes the capsule maker — the day's next move, whatever it happens to be. Months you can walk back through: A calendar wearing your own photos, so a year of days is something you can actually browse.
