PhonePhrase is the party word game where everyone can play on their own phone. No passing one device around, no app on the TV. Create a room, share a 4-letter code, split into teams, and start shouting.
You can play with one phone and pass it, or with two phones and pass to your team.
Give clues, and the moment your team guesses it, the word leaps to the other team's phone. A hidden bomb timer buzzes faster and faster — whoever is holding the word when it blows loses the point. Every phone in the room rumbles when it goes off.
FIVE WAYS TO PLAY
• Classic — hot potato with a hidden bomb. Don't get caught holding it.
• Charades — same bomb, but act it out. No talking!
• Taboo — describe the word without saying the forbidden words in red.
• Race — visible timer, every correct guess scores. Pure speed.
• Fishbowl — everyone secretly submits words, then the same deck gets played three ways: describe it, one word only, act it out.

• 12 word packs: Everyday Things, Food & Drink, Animals, Movies & TV, Sports, Travel, 90s & 2000s, Science & Space, Music, Around the World, a Kids pack — plus an adults-only After Dark pack.
• AI word packs: type any theme ("office life", "pirates", "roaring 20s") and play a custom deck seconds later.
• Mixed, easy, or hard words. Custom team names. Skips with a time penalty — skipping isn't free.

• Nothing to sign up for. Open the app and you're playing as a guest.
• Phone died mid-game? Rejoin with one tap and the game keeps going.
• The bomb can't be cheated: the timer lives on the server, and only the clue-giver's phone can ever see the word.
