Clearer home screen, with every card the same size. Simpler wording on the phones-away sheets. Small fixes.

Drop anchor together: when you're with friends or family, everyone's phones go quiet for a while. Start one in Anchor and the people with you join in. Phones away with people is a new way to use Anchor, with no partner or app list needed. Messages, Safari and FaceTime stay open while you're anchored unless you pick them, and that choice is now part of setup. Daily limits reset properly at midnight, and a limit that has been reached no longer comes back early. Clearer wording and fixes throughout.

Families: teens 13 to 17 can join their parent's family. The parent picks how Anchor runs on the teen's phone, family time only or Anchor for everything. Usage summaries now stay on your phone. Same Anchor, new name: Present Together.

Referrals: bring someone in by tapping your Anchor Tag to their phone, or send your link. Ask someone to partner with one tap; they say yes on their phone. Anchor Tags by mail: a pack of five a year for anyone with a partner or a family. People is now Partners, Family, Anchor Tags and Referrals. Clearer Anchor Tag setup and tap instructions.

Asking again is clearer. If you have already asked about an app, the block screen says so and shows who you are waiting on, instead of offering you the same button again. A 30 second demo on the partner step, so you can see how asking and answering actually works before you invite someone. Daily limits behave the way you would expect. An app with a daily limit is available until you reach the cap, and if your partner approves it permanently the limit comes off. The Partner Requests count now includes schedule requests.

Daily limits now reset at midnight every day. Before this, a limit you hit could stay on into the next day until you opened Anchor. The card that leads to your allowed apps, websites, limits and schedules is now called Blocking Rules.

The invite release. - Invite your partner with a link. Setting up is clearer now. The app picker shows you how to pick just the apps you want to keep open, with a short video right in the flow, and it warns you if a whole category gets selected by accident. iPhone allows at most 50 apps on your open list, so a small handful works best. New: emergency passes. Each month you get up to 3 self-serve unlocks that open a blocked app for 15 minutes when your partner can't answer. Your partner is always told when one is used, and raising your monthly number needs their OK. While you wait for your partner to join, you can keep setting up, and there is a button to send them the download link with your code. Clearer sign-in and Screen Time steps, and small fixes.

Fixes and additions in this update: - A request sent to more than one partner now reaches every partner, not just the first. - Choose the sound your partner's requests arrive with, in Settings under Advanced. - Tapping a request notification opens your partner's requests directly, instead of wherever you last left the app. - You can turn off anonymous usage data in Settings under Advanced. - The request count no longer sits on a stale number when the app cannot reach the network. - Tidier settings layout and clearer guidance when choosing which apps stay open.
